Volunteer Opportunities

The Savoy Swing Club relies on volunteers to make its events and dances happen. In a year we run almost 100 evenings or dance and nearly 200 classes! We work with every Seattle event to make everyone’s experience better! We even branch out to the community to get the love of lindy hop into schools and communities through your donation of time and money. Here are some of the ways you can get involved.

  • Door shifts at Savoy Mondays. Get in free to the dance in exchange for helping us take money at the door.
  • Door shifts at Blues Underground. Get into the dance free in exchange for helping with entry
  • Event Volunteering. Get partial or full event registration in exchange for helping out at an event. This can be anything from helping load in equipment, to cleanup, door shifts, website development, DJing and more!
  • Have a specific skill in graphics? web? marketing? Perhaps you want to join a sub-committee!
  • Meet people that are actively making the scene better for everyone!
